Admission to the University

All foreign students are interviewed in chemistry, biology and language (Russian or English). With positive results of the interview the student will have classes in the first year, in a case of negative results – training at the Preparatory studying course.

Eligibility. The applicant is considered to be eligible if he/she submits Secondary School Certificate (for Preparatory course only) or Certificate of Secondary Complete General Education (for the first-year students) with grades in Biology, Chemistry and Physics higher than the “middle level of grades”, i.e. more than 50% or equal to “C” and higher on each subject.

Steps of admission. First, the applicant has to receive the Invitation Letter for Study from our University. To get the invitation letter for study the applicant has to send us two documents (by fax or by mail):

  • copy of secondary school graduation certificate
  • copy of national passport with personal data

These documents must be translated into Russian and notarized!!!

If the documents submitted by the applicant meet all the requirements for admission the University will send an official invitation letter for study to the applicant. The invitation letter is the reason for obtaining the entrance visa and coming to the University to sign the contract.

Upon arrival at the University the foreign applicant has to submit the following documents to the Dean’s Office of Foreign Students:

  1. Secondary school certificate or its equivalent including the list of subjects studied and marks obtained, or an academic certificate, if applying from the other university;
  2. National passport with Belarusian visa;
  3. Notarized translation of birth certificate;
  4. Health state certificate issued by the official public health authorities of the country of applicant’s residence;
  5. Certificate indicating the absence of HIV infection, issued by the official public health authorities of the country of applicant’s residence;
  6. 6 photos (4x6 cm);

The above mentioned documents must be translated into Russian (if originally not in Russian) and notarized. If the applicant does not submit any of medical certificates or the original of secondary school certificate he/she will be refused the admission to the University.
